AI-Supported Complexity Cost Assessment
AI-Supported Complexity Cost Assessment

In industrial companies, meeting changing market and customer demands often requires a broad range of products leading to increasing product variety This creates complexity across parts, modules, processes, and organizational activities. While direct costs are usually well understood, the indirect costs caused by complexity are often difficult to identify and allocate, potentially distorting product and portfolio profitability.
Value Stream Mapping provides a foundation for assessing these costs, but conventional approaches are often time-consuming, heavily dependent on expert judgement, and difficult to use for dynamic forecasts and simulations.
The ICV Live Webinar demonstrates how AI-supported complexity cost assessment, combined with Activity-Based costing, enables a step change which can make indirect complexity costs fully transparent and scalable. A live demo shows how cost relationships can be visualized and how the same data foundation can be used for forecasts, simulations, and improved business decisions.
