ICV Partner Event: The Sino-Foreign Controlling Forum

Controlling in the Age of Hyper-Competition

Come to Suzhou on June 26, 2026

Hyper-competition in China is no longer a theoretical development – it is already shaping the day-to-day business of international companies. Competitive advantages are disappearing faster, local competitors are rapidly catching up, AI-driven innovations are changing established controlling models, while geopolitical tensions and disruptions to supply chains are adding to the uncertainty.

How can companies manage risks in this environment, make sensible use of artificial intelligence and secure growth and profitability? What role do modern controlling, business partnering and digital transformation play in this?

Discuss these questions together with finance & controlling executives, experts and controlling-oriented managers at the 2026 Sino-Foreign Controlling Forum on June 26 in Suzhou. We look forward to welcoming you on site!

The annual Sino-Foreign Controlling Forum in Suzhou is a flagship event for the Finance Community in Foreign Invested Enterprises in China. It’s character as an event ‘organized by practitioners for practitioners’ and its broad range of highly practical workshops contribute to its unique positioning. There is a community of regular visitors already and it is great fun to catch up regularly on highly relevant topics in a productive atmosphere.

Mr. Alexander Prautzsch, Director, Tax Services – China Tax & Business Advisory Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers China.

The Sino-German Controlling Forum delivers exactly what finance professionals in China need: actionable insights, peer benchmarking, and a clear view of emerging regulatory and market trends. The blend of international best practices with local market realities makes every session highly practical. Beyond the content, the curated networking connects you with decision-makers facing similar challenges. It’s an efficient, high-value event that consistently justifies the time away from the office.

Mr. Julien BOUSSU, Regional Financial Controller at Knorr-Bremse China

The Forum is one of a few international platforms for Finance & Controlling professionals in China to exchange new ideas and get together with other Finance specialists. My work at a midsized company mainly evolves around internal tasks. So, the Forum provides a welcome change and a glimpse how other companies are dealing with the same issues in the Chinese marketplace.

Mr. Christian Kalkbrenner, Finance & Administration Director of Zapp Precision Metals (Taicang) Co., Ltd.

Year after year, the Forum provides an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, sharing best practices, and discussing key developments in controlling and finance. What makes the Forum especially valuable is the combination of professional insights, practical relevance, and strong networking opportunities. It brings together experts and practitioners from across the region, creating an environment that encourages open dialogue and meaningful learning. The presentations and discussions are consistently insightful, and the forum offers a valuable opportunity to stay informed about current trends and challenges in the field. I greatly appreciate the organization and the continued effort to make this event both informative and engaging.

Mr. Francesco Ingarsia, Chief Financial Officer of Schaeffler Greater China
