Ensuring competitiveness: Levers and priorities in controlling

The Controller Conference Switzerland 2026 focuses on upheaval: How does controlling successfully deal with upheaval and what success factors are needed to ensure competitiveness? You can look forward to new perspectives, interactive formats and an intensive exchange with colleagues from practice and science.

The world is facing noticeable upheaval. Geopolitical tensions, tariffs, technological developments and an increasingly volatile environment are changing not only controlling instruments and controlling processes, but also leadership and the role of people in controlling. The Controller Conference Switzerland 2026, as a meeting platform for all those who want to actively develop controlling and reflect on their own role, consciously addresses this development.

Markus Steiner, ICV Board Member

The focus is on experience reports, approaches and the skills that controllers need today and tomorrow. The conference creates space for discussions on how controllers can provide orientation, support decisions and actively contribute to value creation.

Prof. Dr. Ulrich Egle, Conference Director

This year, the focus is on exchange and interaction: the conference offers a variety of opportunities to share experiences, get to know different perspectives and think together about the future of controlling. Practical impulses meet collegial dialog with the aim of learning from each other and taking away new food for thought.

Prof. Dr. Imke Keimer, Conference Director

The Controller Conference Switzerland has been organized annually by the Swiss work groups of the International Association of Controllers (ICV) since 1990, and since 2017 together with the Institute of Financial Services Zug IFZ. Together, we want to combine practical experience with current developments in controlling and make this knowledge available to participants.
