As a young finance professional, the ICV is “the place to be” for you, as it brings together controlling experts from all sectors and career levels. Here you can train, improve and expand your skills and contacts through mentoring, specialist events, a women’s network and participation in working groups, industry working groups and specialist groups – and actively advance your career. At Young Finance Professionals, we talk together about what concerns and moves you as a career starter. We develop solutions as a team, learn together and from each other. If necessary, we can access the expertise and support of our experienced members in the international ICV network at any time.

Korbinian Hoffmann, Executive Advisor for Young Finance Professionals at the ICV
As a trainer and consultant at the CA Controller Academie, I support companies in further developing their planning, reporting and data strategies. I am particularly interested in working with junior controllers. I have many years of experience in the field of business intelligence and am happy to share my knowledge and practical experience with anyone who wants to develop their controlling skills.
Together with Pia, I coordinate all measures for the YFP. We give young professionals access to the diverse and cross-border offerings of the International Association of Controllers.

Pia Burkarth, ICV Board Member responsible for the promotion of young controllers in the lead
I have worked in finance for over ten years and have been involved in many exciting projects during this time – from finance transformation and group controlling to project and change management and BI consulting. I find it particularly fascinating how much agility and digitalization are changing controlling and opening up new opportunities.
In addition to my work as an agile organizational developer and agile coach, I regularly speak at conferences and give guest lectures at universities – always with the aim of providing impetus and promoting the exchange between practice and science.
I am involved in the ICV as a member of the board and chair the “Munich region” working group. The exchange with the members, the joint learning and the further development of our professional profile motivate me time and again.
