Sino-Foreign Controlling Forum 2026

Controlling in the Age of “Hypercompetition”
How can companies manage and successfully grow their China business in the current uncertain and highly dynamic environment? How can they not only identify geopolitical risks but also take steps to mitigate them? How can technological advancements—such as those in the field of AI—be leveraged to transform one’s own controlling practices? These and other questions will be addressed at the 2026 Sino-Foreign Controlling Forum in Suzhou on June 26.
As an ICV partner event, the forum is a leading annual conference conducted in English that was first held in 2013 and was known as the “Sino-German Controlling Forum” until 2024. It serves as a platform for information and the exchange of experiences for finance and controlling managers and specialists, as well as for executives from non-finance departments in the Sino-foreign business community in eastern China. In addition to plenary presentations, the one-day forum offers six workshops on various topics relevant to the successful development and optimization of controlling and corporate management in China.
Specifically, this year’s forum will feature the following topics:
– Squaring the Circle: China and Europe Between Facts and Perception
– Business Partnering in the Age of Hyper-Competition
– Geopolitics in Practice: Turning Global Shocks into Better Decisions and Closer Collaboration
– Sales Controlling and Forecasting in a Highly Competitive Market – Best Practices in the Automotive Industry
– Under Investigation – China Tax Audits & Technology
– AI@KOASIA – Artificial Intelligence: From Experiences to Business Impacts
– Optimizing Financial Controlling in the Age of Hyper-Competition: From Reliable Numbers to Sharper Business Insights
