Arrive at your leisure, take a look around the Smart-Islands and start your first exchange in the Sky Lounge or the ICV Lounge. Now is the perfect time to discover and immerse yourself in the new conference world.

Companies are increasingly relying on “AI agents”, i.e. artificial intelligence that can independently take on tasks, make decisions and trigger actions with the aim of making processes more efficient. The keynote uses specific practical examples to show how AI agents mislead users or trigger actions that do not correspond to the intended goals. The causes of this misconduct will be analyzed and requirements for future “controlling of AI agents” will be presented – as a basis for responsible and targeted use.

Prof. Dr. Matthias MahlendorfProfessor Managerial Accounting, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Frankfurt

In short, intensive discussions, you will get to know numerous experts, practitioners and interested parties within 30 minutes – every 3 minutes. You will gain valuable ideas, contacts and perspectives on artificial intelligence in the financial sector.

Article 4 of the AI Act is currently moving into your company. From February 2, 2025, it will require companies to ensure that everyone working with AI has sufficient AI skills. But what does “sufficient” mean? Who is affected? How is the proof of competence provided? And what are the penalties for non-compliance? We explain clearly and practically which requirements result from Art. 4 for your company and how you can turn the Trojan horse into a gift after all.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most dominant topics in the news. But to what extent is it really shaping our everyday lives and the world of work? What developments have we seen in recent months and what can we expect in the coming years?

In our interactive World Café, we want to bring together experts, practitioners and interested parties to discuss key issues relating to AI. In addition to a compact overview of current developments, the focus will be on exchange: at several topic-specific tables, everyone can contribute their own thoughts and questions, discuss with others and learn from each other.

The following questions will be discussed in various groups:

  • AI expertise – do we have the necessary know-how? What skills do we urgently need to be successful with AI and how can we build them?
  • 3 years of ChatGPT – Which use cases have become established in our everyday work?
  • EU AI Act – protection or brake pad? How are companies implementing the AI Act?
  • GPT5 – Has the dream of general artificial intelligence (AGI) been dashed with its release?

About the CCS 2025

Controlling highlight in online format

The three-day event will focus on practical impulses on current challenges in controlling – above all the use of artificial intelligence. In 2024, the focus was already on AI, combined with the question: Are you ready? In 2025, the focus will remain on developments in this area, because “the journey continues!”

The CCS has established itself as a modern event format with a clear thematic focus and innovative implementation. Participants experience specialist presentations, application examples and networking in interactive formats and a virtual environment that sets new standards.

The CCS is characterized by its concentrated duration, the high density of content and the active involvement of the participants.

With around 3.5 hours per day, digital lecture stages in an inspiring environment and lightning-fast switching between sessions, the Controlling Competence Spaces represent a new way of accessing knowledge. The technical implementation allows you to follow the sessions dynamically – according to your own interests.

We are once again looking forward to welcoming many enthusiastic speakers and participants who will join us on this three-day trip in November so that we can learn and experience more about AI in controlling when we return to our everyday lives, but also so that we can continue to build and expand our controlling network. This will enable us to start 2026 stronger with new insights, ideas and professional partners at our side.

Show who you are!
