In the latest study by the WHU Controller Panel 2022, you can find out how management reporting can be optimized in turbulent times. The standard management report remains a central source of information and continues to be of great importance, especially in large companies.
However, despite their high relevance, controllers spend more time creating and updating the reports than analyzing and commenting on them. The study shows that 75% of large companies report ESG key figures, but these are often not included in the standard management report.
The use of BI tools is aimed at improving the reporting process, with 60% of companies already using such solutions. Our research provides valuable insights into efficiency improvements and developments in management reporting.
