By looking at the functions and expectations of controllers, it is made clear how they operate in business practice and what challenges they have to overcome. It also highlights the importance of cooperation between controlling and management.
The objective of the mission statement is to promote a discussion about the role of controllers and to strengthen their importance for the success of the company.

Der Internationale Controller Verein (ICV) hat in 50 Jahren für Controlling und ControllerInnen gleichermaßen Standards gesetzt und ist heute die Kompetenz-Adresse für Controlling Excellence in Europa.
