Effective cost management during the coronavirus crisis
The current coronavirus crisis poses an enormous challenge for controllers and managers. Companies have to overcome uncertainties and risks arising from politics, markets and technology.
This study provides initial results on the analysis of cost management in companies affected by the crisis. The survey was conducted in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Croatia and covered 402 companies.
The key finding is that high efficiency in cost management offers proven competitive advantages and helps companies to survive better in times of crisis.
