The EBS Executive School in Oestrich-Winkel/Rheingau has been offering certificate programs and corporate programs on a variety of topics in the field of sustainability management and sustainable finance since 2016. One of the certificate programs, the compact ESG Performance Management course, is a joint initiative of EBS and ICV. - The part-time certificate program comprises seven days in two blocks plus a written examination.

Finance plays the main role in sustainability management. This requires Master Class know-how, which can be acquired in the “Corporate Sustainable Finance” compact course.
- The various areas of the finance function and their sustainability challenges are covered in six subject areas, from strategic management and corporate finance to reporting on sustainability performance.

With the CSRD and taxonomy, the sustainability reporting obligation for companies in the EU is being reformed and significantly expanded. The EBS Executive School’s new certificate program, the compact course in Sustainability Reporting (SRE), prepares students for the enormous challenges associated with this.
- It consists of six days in two blocks and concludes with a written exam.
- The 12 modules are divided into four subject areas:
1. Sustainable strategy, corporate management and transformation
2. Fundamentals of sustainability reporting and dual materiality
3. CSRD and ESRS
4. Taxonomy and CSRD implementation. - Successful graduates receive the university certificate Sustainability Reporting Advisor (EBS).

What supervisory bodies and top decision-makers need to know about sustainability is focused on here in 16 modules of 90 minutes each.
- With competition-relevant knowledge about Strategy & Transformation, Disclosure & Risk, Performance & Technology and Governance & Communication, participants acquire key skills for successful, sustainable corporate management.
- The certificate program comprises four central subject areas with a total of 16 modules.
- The course is divided into two blocks or four days and concludes with an optional written online exam lasting 120 minutes.
