WHU Controller Panel: Call for Study Participants
New Study by the WHU Controller Panel on Future Trends in Controlling Launched—Featuring an In-Depth Look at AI
The future of management accounting is increasingly shaped by technological developments—above all, by artificial intelligence. What other topics will shape management accounting in the coming years? WHU aims to find this out with its sixth Future Study as part of the WHU Controller Panel, led by Prof. Dr. Marko Reimer and Prof. Dr. Utz Schäffer, and is calling on everyone working in controlling and finance to participate.
One focus of the study is on generative and agent-based AI: How are companies preparing to implement these technologies? What organizational, technological, and personnel requirements have already been put in place? And what challenges are currently hindering a successful AI transformation in controlling?
The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and is open until August 14. Participation is free of charge and is open to everyone, even those who are not members of the WHU Controller Panel. Members of the WHU Controller Panel have already received a personalized invitation link.
The WHU Controller Panel was launched in 2007 as an initiative of the IMC, in close collaboration with the ICV, to gather benchmarks and identify best practices. It is aimed at chief financial officers and controllers from companies and nonprofit organizations. The regular surveys provide insights into the development of controlling in German-speaking countries. The analyses conducted by the WHU Controller Panel offer the panel’s approximately 1,000 members food for thought and recommendations for action in their day-to-day work.
