Work Group Weser-Harz

We meet twice a year, usually in hotels or directly at member companies. We pay particular attention to limiting the conference costs to a maximum of 150 euros to enable self-paying participants to attend.

Thursday evening:

• 5-minute presentations: Participants present current topics from their day-to-day work.
• Short presentation: An overview of a current controller topic.
• Controller’s Small Talk: A relaxed exchange to share experiences and ideas.

Friday:

• Main topic: Presentation by a preparatory group or a speaker.
• Workshops: Discussion of the main topic, including practical tests of the tools presented.
• Final presentation: Results from the workshops are presented in plenary.

Once a year, a company visit is organized as part of the meeting, which offers exciting insights into the practice.

At each meeting, the topic repository is supplemented and prioritized to ensure that relevant and current topics are addressed. A preparatory group meets in advance to plan the meetings and coordinate the activities.
