Network for Executives from Large Companies

Welcome to the Network for Executives from Large Companies

Join us for our meetings where everyone is on equal footing

Meet with executives from the controlling and finance departments on an equal footing and exchange ideas about current challenges, experiences, and potential solutions in a confidential setting.

The ICV Network brings together executives from controlling, finance, and related functions in large companies. The focus is on the personal and confidential exchange of experiences on topics currently affecting the finance and controlling functions.

The networking events combine practical insights with thought-provoking ideas, discussions, and ample opportunity for direct exchange. They are hosted by companies and organizations that open their doors and offer participants a glimpse into their finance and controlling practices.

This isn’t about theoretical concepts, but rather concrete experiences: How do other companies structure their finance functions? How do they deal with transformation and new technologies? Which approaches work in practice—and where do the challenges lie?

Take advantage of the ICV network to gain new perspectives, make valuable connections, and engage in confidential discussions with executives from other large companies.

The network is specifically aimed at executives in controlling, finance, and related functions at large companies. The carefully selected group of participants creates a framework for open discussions about current challenges, experiences, and potential solutions.

The focus is on topics that directly concern executives in finance and controlling roles. Practical insights from the hosts and other experts serve as the starting point for discussions and roundtable sessions. At the same time, there is ample opportunity for one-on-one conversations and the exchange of experiences across companies.

This fosters a network where executives can gain insight into comparable perspectives on the unique challenges of large corporations and generate relevant ideas for their own work.

At the 2025 meeting at Kärcher in Winnenden, for example, the focus was on “AI in the Finance and Controlling Function.” Participants gained insights into the transformation of the CFO role and discussed, among other things, roles and responsibilities, cross-functional collaboration, and the use of AI and digital tools in controlling.

In 2026, FC Augsburg will open the doors to the WWK Arena. Managing Director Claudio Dopatka will offer a behind-the-scenes look at a professional soccer club, explaining how its finance function is organized and the specific challenges it faces in terms of management and decision-making.
