Welcome to the ICV Expert Work Group Transfer Pricing Management
Around 20 committed representatives from industry, academia and consulting have come together in the Expert Work Group “Transfer Pricing Management – Controlling/Tax Interface” to work together on this challenging and practice-relevant topic.
The Expert Work Group offers a platform to discuss these challenges from different perspectives and develop innovative solutions.
Due to the high level of interest, the expert group is already full.
The majority of participants in the Expert Work Group work in management positions, for example as heads of controlling, tax or finance. They come from manufacturing industries and represent companies of various sizes – from SMEs to DAX 30 companies – from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The implementation of transfer pricing structures presents companies with complex challenges:
- Some companies charge appropriate transfer prices for tax purposes, but struggle with control deficits.
- Others use incentive transfer prices for management purposes, which often means that the allocation of the Group result in line with the value added is not achieved.
- Ideally, there are systems that fulfill both objectives, but these are usually associated with considerable system engineering effort.
