Expert Work Group Project Controlling

Welcome to the ICV Expert Work Group Project Controlling
The Expert Work Group Project Controlling was founded in February 2002 as a joint platform of the International Association of Controllers (ICV) and the GPM German Association for Project Management. From the outset, it has brought together experts from various industries such as automotive, aerospace, public utilities, software, banking, IT services and independent consultants.
Become part of our network and benefit from an open exchange with experts, practical discussions and innovative solutions in project controlling!
The Expert Work Group Project Controlling meets three to four times a year, each time for two days, at different locations along the A8 highway between Karlsruhe and Munich.
A special highlight is the “Project Controller Hock” on the first evening, which promotes personal exchange in a cozy atmosphere. Guest speakers enrich the events with exciting impulses and broaden the members’ knowledge horizons.
The Expert Work Group has set itself the following goals:
- Open exchange of experience:
Create a platform that facilitates the exchange of practical issues and discusses innovative approaches. - Linking theory and practice:
Building a bridge between theoretical models and practical implementation in order to evaluate and further develop relevant methods and tools in project controlling. - Promote and document innovation:
Analyze new approaches, mathematical models and key figure systems in order to develop sustainable solutions and document them systematically.
One example of the successful work of the Expert Work Group is the publication “ICV Statement Project Controlling”, which was published in February 2006 and offers 68 pages of practical content.
