Today, financial institutions are facing increasing process complexity, rising regulatory requirements, ESG mandates, demands for real-time management, and cross-system data flows. At the same time, demands for speed, quality, and scalability are rising, making the use of artificial intelligence increasingly important.
The Expert Work Group focuses on the key issues surrounding AI transformation in finance and controlling. These include the vision for the finance organization in 2030, as well as the target state and role of the finance function in the AI era. Another focus is on end-to-end processes in finance and the identification of suitable AI levers along these processes.
In addition, we address specific AI use cases, governance issues, and responsibility and Responsible AI. We also examine the economic viability of AI initiatives and the development of robust business cases. Organizational issues related to skills, role definitions, and change management are just as much a part of our work as roadmaps and process models for successful AI transformation. In addition, we discuss change processes within the framework of the “human-in-the-loop” approach.
