Expert Work Group Agile Controlling

The world is changing rapidly, and with it the demands on controlling. We are faced with the task of actively supporting the agile transformation of business models – and agility is also becoming increasingly important within the finance and controlling sector. As controllers and business partners, we are called upon to think and act agile: “Doing Agile” and “Being Agile”!

In the ICV Work Group with the technical focus “Agile Controlling”, we deal with central questions that shape the future of controlling:

• What characterizes an agile mindset, agile methods, organizational forms and corporate cultures?
• Where are agile approaches already being used successfully, and what impact do they have on controlling and the CFO area?
• What makes up the competence profile in agile controlling?

Together, we analyze these topics, develop solutions and enable each participant to find out how agile their own area already is and how the agility of the entire company can be managed in a targeted manner – for example with Objectives and Key Results (OKR).
