AI in Practice: From Vision to Real Business Value

Matej Petrovčič
Matej Petrovčič is co-founder and CEO of CRMT, a leading Slovenian consulting company in business analytics, controlling, data management and corporate performance management (CPM). With more than 20 years of experience in business intelligence, he now focuses on the practical use of artificial intelligence in finance and controlling. He leads projects implementing AI agents for reporting, data analysis and automation of routine tasks, with particular attention to data governance and the semantic layer as the foundation for trustworthy enterprise AI.
Aleš Štempihar
Aleš Štempihar is CEO of Askit d.o.o. and author of the AIVaaS™ (AI Value as a Service) methodology. With more than 25 years of experience and work with over 100 management board members, he is an expert in strategic transformation in the age of AI. He sees controlling as the right hand of management – not only in executing strategy, but already in shaping it. His work focuses on aligning AI ambition with business strategy and on the controller’s role as navigator of strategic alignment, helping organisations turn AI into measurable business value.
