Women on the Move: the Women’s Network
The founding of the Business Women’s Network is a milestone in the integration and promotion of women in the ICV. The Women’s Network was founded as part of the Management Conference 2024 in Warsaw. The Board of Trustees also actively supports setting the course for greater promotion of women in our Association. The initiative is exclusively for our members. The initiative is under the patronage of Board Members Claudia Maron and Malgorzata Podskarbi. Sonja Westphal is in charge of the Network.
Goals of the Women’s Network:
- Strengthening women in controlling
- Promoting the acquisition of knowledge
- Offering coaching opportunities
- Creating a platform for personal exchange
“This network is an important platform that enables women to network, learn from each other and show their strength together. Especially in the world of controlling and corporate management, where women are often still outnumbered, a strong women’s network is essential. It’s not just about sharing experience, I also want to contribute to their development. Leadership and communication skills, self-management, positive psychology, self-confidence – all qualities that we want to promote in the Women’s Network. These qualities are of course also important for men. That’s why our male colleagues can also feel addressed and take part in the events. However, our women should be given the exclusive opportunity to ask for support with gender issues and problems.”
