The last meeting of the ICV Work Group Zürich-Ostschweiz took place in the Zurich-Mülligen mail center at Swiss Post. The day was dedicated to innovative planning in companies. Swiss Post presented its approach and also highlighted current challenges. Further input came from a consultant’s perspective (Andreas Seifert from Horváth & Partner), a research perspective (Wilfried Lux from OST – Ostschweizer Fachhochschule) and an expert’s perspective (Lukas Rieder from Controllerzentrum St. Gallen). The participants were also given an insight into the interface to software using the example of the Talentia Software Group (Rolf Niedermann). The tour of the mail center, where an impressive number of over one million letters and several hundred thousand parcels are processed every day and night, was particularly exciting. Afterwards, the host invited the guests to an aperitif.

At the meeting, Marcel Greimel was also unanimously elected as the new Head of the Work Group for the Zürich-Ostschweiz region, as Wilfried Lux, the previous leader, was elected as the new ICV Delegate for Switzerland. We would like to thank Wilfried Lux for his commitment and wish him every success in his new role.
