What are ICV work groups?
The work groups of the International Association of Controllers are structured according to their region or by field (subject-specific or sector-specific). Work groups meet at least twice a year, with a focus on the joint development of practical solutions to current issues and knowledge exchange between the participants. If you are interested, please contact the Head of the work group of your choice.
Who are ICV expert work groups?
In the contrary to the regionally oriented work groups of the ICV, the expert work groups focus on special subject areas. Always with the aim of creating publications on the selected main topic. As a rule, there are face-to-face meetings twice a year, which are supplemented by digital meetings. This allows participation "without limits", to which we hereby cordially invite you!
What are ICV sector work groups?
The sector work groups are the meeting place for controllers in an industry. This strictly focused target group and the correspondingly aligned content ensure that the know-how required in a specific area is shared and new knowledge is developed.

Sector Work Group Energy + Water and the current challenges
In an interview with Peter Bluhm from atvisio.TV, Gerald Stuer, Head of the ICV Sector Work Group Energy + Water, reports on the challenges for his industry: controllers from the energy and water industry see themselves confronted with nuclear phase-out, coal phase-out, digitization, energy transition 4.0, climate change and decarbonization. In this context, the Head of the Sector Work Group reports both on the work in his Work Group and on his personal practical experience. Language: German.
Expert Work Group Green Controlling for Responsible Business: Focus on sustainability
Sustainable corporate management and thus a focus on social and ecological goals are becoming increasingly important due to the European Green Deal, sustainable finance, EU taxonomy and CSR guidelines. In the ICV, the ICV Expert Work Group Green Controlling for Responsible Business has dealt with sustainability and how it influences the practice of corporate management and the work in controlling for many years. Head of the Expert Work Group Dr. Marco Möhrer reports on this in an interview with Peter Bluhm from atvisio.TV.
