Welcome to the Expert Work Group Health Care Switzerland

The idea for the establishment of a work group Health Care in Switzerland was based on the ICV work group Health Care in Germany. The WG was founded in 1998 and deals with topics of accounting and controlling in the health care system.

With the annual ICV Health Care Conference in Switzerland, we offer all stakeholders such as lead providers, insurers, etc. a platform for the experience exchange. Our goal is to actively exchange current and future topics with members and other interested parties in the network.

Guide and APP: Risk management for inpatient care facilities

The Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST) - ICV cooperation partner - has published the results of its project: "Holistic risk management in inpatient care facilities". This supports management staff in setting up a risk management system in the facility. The guide and the corresponding APP are available free of charge in German.

The guide includes the following criteria:

  • Risk identification
  • Risk analysis and assessment
  • Risk management
  • Risk communication

Other topics such as strategic management, quality management and legal aspects are discussed.

Project leader: Prof. Dr. Wilfried Lux, Head of the ICV Work Group Zurich-Eastern Switzerland. The project was funded by the Funk Stiftung.
