In our last meeting we agreed to conduct a series of subsequent online meetings, featuring a role-play between two teams: the "Change Management Client" and the "Change Management Service Provider." This approach was selected to identify practical solutions for real-life challenges in change management.

The two roles are described as follows:

Team * Change Management Client:

  • Role: Simulates a company or department facing a change and requiring support in change management.
  • Tasks: Describe current challenges and goals, ask questions, and provide feedback on the proposed solutions.
  • Goal: Clearly communicate needs and expectations, and ensure that the proposed change management strategies are practical and effective.

Team ** Change Management Service Provider:

  • Role: Simulates a consulting firm or internal department that offers change management services.
  • Tasks: Analyze the client's situation, develop tailored solutions, and present these solutions to the client.
  • Goal: Develop effective and actionable change management strategies that meet the client’s specific requirements.

Through this method, CFOs, Heads of Controlling, Heads of FP&A, and Heads of Finance will have the opportunity to experience firsthand how change management can be effectively applied in the finance department. The aim is to generate concrete recommendations and strengthen collaboration within our "Change Management & Finance" working group.

This role-play will allow participants to experience the practical application of change management in finance and understand the challenges and solutions that may arise.

Stay tuned for more exciting online meetings and insights into the world of change management in the finance department!
