About Dieter Spath
Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dr. h.c. Dieter Spath is a German ergonomist and a recognized expert for future work environments. This born Frankonian is among others Head of the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering and Organization as well as the Institute of Human Factors and Technology Management at the University of Stuttgart. Until 2021 he was also President of the acatech German Academy of Science and Engineering.
At the ICV autumn conference CCS Controlling Competence Stuttgart 2018, he was already a speaker on the topic of "Digital Transformation into the Work 4.0".
Dieter Spath wrote numerous publications on the challenges of the future world of work and knowledge management, most recently as co-author of the expert book „Neue Entwicklungen in der Unternehmensorganisation“ and „Reifegradmodell zur digitalen Kundeninteraktion im Internet“ ["New Developments in Business Organization" and "Maturity Model for Digital Customer Interaction on the Internet"].
Spath has owned the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany since 2008 for outstanding services to science, economy and society in the Federal Republic of Germany.
