From "Digitization & controlling" through "start-ups" to "Controlling Newcomer Award": public controlling conference on November 18 in Berlin-Adlershof
Berlin/Munich, 13.11.2017– What effects does digital transformation have on the controller profession and what role do controllers have to play in the serious changes in business processes and business models? Is "growth a start-up killer?" The lecture on the importance of controlling at start-ups deals with this question. - The diverse program of the public controlling conference "Controlling Innovation Berlin - CIB 2017" promises innovations and inspirations on November 18 in Berlin.
In his keynote speech, Peter Guse, CEO, Robert Bosch Start-up GmbH, Ludwigsburg, talks about how Bosch is adapting to the start-up world. "Digital transformation - effects on corporate management and controlling" is the second major contribution. Other topics include: "Business analytics in practice" and "IT governance and self-service business intelligence (BI)". A lecture entitled "What the Battle of Waterloo has to do with the digitized world" is dedicated to a dynamically changing "VUCA World".
At the CIB 2017, the annual Controlling Newomer Award (ICV) will be given by the host of the conference, International Association of Controllers (ICV), for innovative degree dissertation in the area of controlling (12.15 pm). The winning work will then be presented in plenary by the award winner.
