Keynotes & topic clusters cover a wide range of challenges
The range of topics covered by the keynote speakers on both mornings ranges from the role of the controller in corporate transformation to digital transformation, machine learning and AI, ESG, shared value and entrepreneurial scenarios for a post-covid world to the start-up success story, strategic controlling, cost & performance management, servitization and health controlling for controllers.
The keynotes are supplemented by parallel topic clusters on Monday afternoons, which this year draw attention to sustainability, digitization and agile corporate management. In the Sustainability topic cluster, the status quo of sustainability transformation will be put to the test as well as the integration of ESG into commercial management and reporting (including success factors and pitfalls in practical implementation). As the winner of the Green Controlling Award 2021, BASF will present its award-winning project: a digital solution for the automated calculation of all product carbon footprints.
The Digitalization topic cluster is all about the question of how powerful modern planning tools are in terms of predictive planning and forecasting. Leading providers present their solutions as business cases and answer questions and suggestions from the congress visitors.
Participants in the Agilily topic cluster will learn how agile performance management leads controlling from the role of number cruncher to business partner consultant, how budgeting can change an entire organization and how company-wide management can be designed in an agile manner.
Networking with the Who's Who in Europe-wide controlling
Numerous exhibitors enrich the offer on-site. They present controlling-related products and services in the foyer of the Congress Hotel Westin Grand Munich. Networking and personal exchange are also high on the agenda at the specialist meeting of the European who-is-who in controlling. There is plenty of time for this during coffee breaks, at lunch, at Happy Hour including "Meet the Experts!" and of course at the legendary "Controllers Beer Garden" with buffet and jazz band. The ICV is looking forward to the face-to-face meeting, for which the Corona regulations that will then apply will be observed in order to ensure the health safety of the visitors on site.
