The corona pandemic has left deep marks on the balance sheets of many companies and economies and will demand them intensively at least in the first half of 2021. Economic researchers expect a historic upturn for the year as a whole. “In view of these framework conditions, managers and controllers ask themselves which measures they can use to master the crisis successfully and emerge stronger from it. Parallel to the immediate crisis management, it is important to prepare for the time afterwards and to develop strategies for the upturn, ”explains the ICV chairman, Prof. Dr. Heimo Losbichler. "With our congress program we want to look ahead and provide a wide range of impulses for both areas of responsibility."
The agenda covers topics such as sustainability, digital change, transformation and disruption, artificial intelligence, the future of work and performance management. Practical speeches give "valuable insights into the work of leading companies" such as DHL, Deutsche Bahn, BASF, A1 Telekom Austria, SAP and DATEV. Three parallel topic clusters - "Artificial Intelligence in Controlling?", "Future of Work in Controlling" and " Performance Management – Company Management in the Future" - are dedicated to cutting-edge challenges. This year's presentation of the “ICV Controlling Excellence Award”, in which a prominent Jury awards for the “exemplary controlling solution of the year”, is expected with great excitement.
"Exchanging experiences are particularly important in uncertain times like today," explains Prof. Losbichler. He invites controlling experts and managers to the “controlling highlight of the year”, to exchange ideas with international colleagues and to be inspired.
