„16th Controlling Competence Stuttgart – CCS 2018“: Controlling conference on November 22 at the IBM Client Center Ehningen
Stuttgart, 31.10.2018 – Digital transformation is not just about product innovation, but its impact on business models, competitive strategies, value creation, customer relationships and the world of work. Movement and mobility are required in corporate management: Those who want to be prepared for radical breaks in controlling must "question, rethink and mind shift in their activities". In this change the International Association of Controllers (ICV) gives controlling practitioners orientation and support. The ICV Conference "16th Controlling Competence Stuttgart - CCS 2018" will bring together controlling experts from southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland on November 22 at the IBM Client Center Ehningen near Stuttgart. The CCS 2018 topic: "Prepare for your Future! Questioning - rethinking - mind shift".
The first speech at the CCS 2018 gives Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr.-Ing. E. h. Dr. h.c. Dieter Spath, Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO, Stuttgart, talking about "Digital transformation in the work 4.0". Afterwards, Marco Wolfrum, partner of FutureValue Group AG, Leinfelden-Echterdingen, focuses on the topic "Risk indicators for corporate management". Big Data, experience-based vs. data-driven analysis as well as new roles in controlling are the focus of the presentation by Björn Reitzenstein, Senior Manager Controlling at Powertrain Solutions, Robert Bosch GmbH, Stuttgart, winner of the "ICV Controlling Excellence Award 2018". Finally Claudia Maron, Governance, DATEV eG, Nürnberg, ICV Delegate Germany South explains how Finance Excellence works in an agile environment, whether Predictive Forecast is the solution, how much statistics a controller needs, and what controllers can learn from risk managers.
At the IBM Client Center Ehningen this year's ICV Controlling Newcomer Award is also given, the newly crowned award winner presents their work in plenary. Every year, the ICV honors graduate theses in the field of controlling, which, in addition to the scientific foundation, are also characterized by their practical relevance, the direct implementation of the developed concepts and a high level of innovation.
Host of the conference is the International Association of Controllers (ICV). The ICV employs sector- and topic-centered expert groups and regional networks for the exchange of experience and networking in 17 European countries. In southern Germany, these work groups are active in the regions of Lake Constance / Allgäu, Franconia, Heilbronn-Künzelsau, Munich, Upper Palatinate, Rhine-Neckar, Stuttgart, the Black Forest, Southern Bavaria and Ulm.
