This report from the ideas workshop of the International Controller Association (ICV) examines how companies can use strategic controlling to navigate through times of crisis. In light of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the report offers insights into proven crisis management strategies and practical recommendations for action to ensure liquidity and stabilize the company. <\/p>\n

The phases of crisis management are systematically discussed, from crisis recognition to realignment and restart. In addition, illustrative practical examples are presented from the companies K\u00c4RCHER, TRUMPF and SIEMENS, which share valuable experience in crisis management. <\/p>\n

The aim is to support controllers and managers in choosing suitable tools in order to remain capable of acting in the event of a crisis and to get back on track in the long term.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>
