12 ICCC International Controlling Conference in Croatia entitled “New Competences for a Successful Transformation”<\/strong> was held on November 15, 2024, in Zagreb. What was the light motive of the conference? <\/p>\n

Business is no longer just business. Success and sustainability can only be achieved if an organization is successfully transformed to be modern in every conceivable way. Competencies are crucial on the road to success.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As always, excellent speakers from the ICV community also participated. This time it was – Doris Mail\u00e4nder. CEO at Mailaender Executive Plus GmbH with the topic: “Modern leadership in the business environment – challenges and roles of a leader in the 21st century”, and David Nerz, trainer and consultant from Controller Akademie, with a topic “Pricing – the driver for a successful business”. <\/p>\n

The main message of the conference which will be remembered:<\/p>\n

The defining word of this decade is transformation. Organizations need to make major development steps and push their boundaries in a very short period. <\/p>\n

Old knowledge is inadequate and, sometimes, even a barrier. The “New Work” paradigm suggests that development fundamentally relies on personal growth and team learning, the adoption of entirely new mental models, a sustainability strategy, and, especially, systemic thinking, which is essential for grasping the interrelationships within a newly transformed organization. Here, competencies are of the utmost importance, bringing in completely new knowledge for the future. <\/p>\n

As in previous years, it was the largest controlling event in this part of Europe. About 300 visitors – company owners, managers of all levels, controllers, and IT experts – followed the presentations about all kinds of transformations we need in today’s business. Excellent lecturers from Germany, Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia shared their experiences with the participants. <\/p>\n

13th ICCC will be held in Zagreb on November 21, 2025.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
