Resilience instead of crisis: Topic Cluster B at the Congress of Controllers <\/h2> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Today, early crisis detection means using AI in a targeted manner, bundling risks in a structured way and managing cost effects – for example through CO\u2082 regulation – with foresight. Prof. Dr. Christoph Eisl, member of the ICV Executive Board and moderator of Topic Center B, puts it in a nutshell: “In the Topic Center, we show practical tools with which controllers can plan bandwidths, use Monte Carlo simulations, identify opportunities and thus strengthen the resilience of their company.”<\/p>\n

The prelude is FH-Prof. Dr. Heimo Losbichler <\/strong>which shows how modern early intelligence works in the age of AI. The focus is on methods of strategic and operational early intelligence, dealing with weak signals and the limits and possibilities of AI in the controlling system.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Werner Glei\u00dfner<\/strong> and Matthias von Daacke<\/strong> will then turn their attention to risk aggregation and bandwidth planning. Using a practical example from the BLANCO Group, they will demonstrate how event-oriented risks can be identified, evaluated using Monte Carlo simulations and translated into reliable planning ranges – a central component of modern crisis prevention.<\/p>\n

Finally, Carsten Th\u00fcrnau<\/strong> shows how companies can actively manage the CO\u2082 costs and compliance effects resulting from the BEHG. He discusses levers for management and controlling – from calculation and scenarios to passing on costs and increasing efficiency – and highlights the opportunities that arise from forward-looking management.<\/p>\n

Topic Center B is therefore at the heart of the 50th Congress of Controllers on 27\/28 April in Munich: Here, controllers will be given concrete approaches on how to make uncertainty measurable, recognize crises at an early stage and make their company more robust and fit for the future.<\/p>\n
