The Accounting & Controlling Expert Group of the International Association of Controllers (ICV) was founded in August 2004 as an IFRS project group. Since then, it has been dedicated to the practical challenges arising from the changes to national and international accounting standards for controlling. <\/p>\n

We invite all interested members of the ICV to actively participate in our work – whether by attending conferences, working in subgroups or exchanging views on specific issues. Your perspectives and opinions on the topics of accounting and controlling are particularly important to us. <\/p>\n

Practitioners, auditors, consulting specialists and academics work closely together in the Expert Work Group. This interdisciplinary exchange allows us to look at topics from different perspectives. <\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

We meet three times a year in varying compositions and at different locations. Our findings are incorporated into specialist articles, controller statements, books, presentations and statements. <\/p>\n<\/div> <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

We deal not only with the effects on annual and consolidated financial statements, but also with management reports, sustainability reports and other forms of reporting. In addition, we highlight the opportunities arising from the combination of accounting and controlling, as well as future-oriented trends and tendencies in both areas. <\/p>\n

It is particularly important to us to incorporate the perspective of controllers into standardization and standard-setting processes.
