Agenda Tuesday

Arrive at your leisure, take a look around the Smart-Islands and start your first exchange in the Sky Lounge or the ICV Lounge. Now is the perfect time to discover and immerse yourself in the new conference world.

Moderation: Claudia Maron & Christian Bramkamp

Companies are increasingly relying on “AI agents”, i.e. artificial intelligence that can independently take on tasks, make decisions and trigger actions with the aim of making processes more efficient. The keynote uses specific practical examples to show how AI agents mislead users or trigger actions that do not correspond to the intended goals. The causes of this misconduct will be analyzed and requirements for future “controlling of AI agents” will be presented – as a basis for responsible and targeted use.

Prof. Dr. Matthias MahlendorfProfessor Managerial Accounting, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Frankfurt

Moderation: Claudia Maron & Christian Bramkamp

Article 4 of the AI Act is currently moving into your company. From February 2, 2025, it will require companies to ensure that everyone working with AI has sufficient AI skills. But what does “sufficient” mean? Who is affected? How is the proof of competence provided? And what are the penalties for non-compliance? We explain clearly and practically which requirements result from Art. 4 for your company and how you can turn the Trojan horse into a gift after all.

About the CCS 2026

Controlling highlight in online format

The three-day event will focus on practical impulses on current challenges in controlling – above all the use of artificial intelligence. Since 2024, our focus has been on AI, combined with the question: Are you ready? In 2025, we also focused on developments in this area, because “the journey continues!” And because not everything is said and done with artificial intelligence in controlling and finance, we are also inviting you to the focus topic “AI in controlling” in 2026, because one thing is more important than ever: stay tuned!

The CCS has established itself as a modern event format with a clear thematic focus and innovative implementation. Participants experience specialist presentations, application examples and networking in interactive formats and a virtual environment that sets new standards.

The CCS is characterized by its concentrated duration, the high density of content and the active involvement of the participants.

With around 3.5 hours per day, digital lecture stages in an inspiring environment and lightning-fast changes between sessions, the Controlling Competence Spaces represent a new way of accessing knowledge. The technical implementation allows you to follow the sessions dynamically – according to your own interests.

We are once again looking forward to welcoming many enthusiastic speakers and participants who will join us on this three-day trip in November so that we can learn and experience more about AI in controlling when we return to our everyday lives, but also so that we can continue to build and expand our controlling network. This will enable us to start 2027 stronger with new insights, ideas and professional partners at our side.

Listening, following up, getting involved, networking – everything is possible at the CCS

Simply take part or become active yourself: Decide for yourself what suits you

Our formats provide orientation and show you where you can deepen your specialist knowledge!
In practical presentations, experts share experiences and insights from their day-to-day work with you. In deep dive sessions, you will experience tools in action – practical tips included. Panel discussions offer space for different perspectives in an open exchange. In the World Café, you can exchange ideas with others directly and informally in the protected setting of a small group. External thought leaders broaden perspectives and set the tone in key notes. Studies provide a data-based view of trends and developments. Interactive elements and connect formats allow you to get directly involved and network with others.
All formats are interlinked and make the CCS a practice-oriented learning and exchange platform for all those who are concerned with the future of controlling.
